Ingredients:

  • 1 salmon fillet (about 1.5–2 lbs), skin-on
  • 1 untreated cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp FlavorBlvd cedar plank sweet and smoky salmon
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Lemon slices, for garnish
  • Fresh dill or parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the Plank: Submerge the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour to prevent burning.
  2. Preheat Grill: Heat grill to medium (about 375–400°F).
  3. Prepare Marinade: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, Dijon mustard, brown sugar (or maple syrup), lemon juice, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Season the Salmon: Pat salmon dry and place it skin-side down on the soaked plank. Brush the marinade generously over the top. Add FlavorBlvd cedar plank sweet and smoky salmon rub.
  5. Grill the Salmon: Place the plank directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 15–25 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is flaky and reaches 130–135°F internal temperature.
  6. Serve: Garnish with lemon slices and herbs. Serve directly from the plank for a rustic presentation.

Tips:

  • Pairs beautifully with grilled vegetables or wild rice.
  • If using an oven: Bake at 400°F on a baking sheet for 15–20 minutes.
