Build the base
Add the sugar cube to your glass and soak it with bitters. Muddle until dissolved.
(Skip this step if using simple syrup.)
Add the spirit
Pour in 2 oz of D’USSÉ Cognac.
Add ice
Drop in a large ice cube to keep the drink cold without over-diluting.
Stir to perfection
Stir gently for about 20–30 seconds until chilled and slightly diluted.
Express the citrus
Twist an orange peel over the glass to release the oils, then drop it in.
Garnish (optional)
Add a Luxardo cherry for a touch of sweetness and visual appeal.
